Adjustments from P1 loadbalancing to SlimmeRik control#
This manual provides instructions to allow existing Alfen chargers, who are now controlled by a third party, to be configured as a SlimmeRik controlled Alfen charger. Currently supported models are:
In these specific situations the Alfen charger was already installed at the customer and Alfen’s loadbalancing is done via the P1 port of the digital meter. The charger is physically connected by UTP to the digital meter. This connection is no longer necessary. Loadbalancing will be managed by Sunergy through the connection between SlimmeRik and digital meter. For SlimmeRik to control the charger, the charger needs to be connected to the local network. A new UTP cable has to be installed between the Alfen charger and router.
In case of digital meter and router being in the same area, the existing UTP can be re-used by changing the connector from RJ11 (digital meter) to RJ45 (router).
Configuration of SlimmeRik requires that the modbus communication is enabled in each individual charger’s settings, the procedure can be executed locally (via MyEve app or ACE Service Installer) or remotely (via Backoffice).
